Lori came to Pilates in 2005 to physically rehabilitate from old injuries, including whiplash and concusion. She has taught group fitness classes and worked with clients in her Pilates Studio since 2007. She continued her training through Advanced Pilates Reformer, CCB, Chair, including Injuries and Special Populations.
Pilates ignited Lori’s curiosity to explore the inner workings of our NeuroFascial System in relation to connective tissue diseases. She has gained greater insights into her own neuromuscular challenges she has lived with since childhood.
As Lori became a MELT Method Instructor in 2013, she continued her studies in MELT Pilates and MELT NeuroStrength, as she continued to strengthen and manage her own systems.
Simultaneously she was introduced to and stepped into Nia — an holistic somatic movement and fitness practice that combines Dance Arts, Martial Arts and Healing Arts. She credits her MELT and Nia Trainings for her personal and professional enrichment, as well as being part of her personal fitness and wellness program — which includes Nia 5 Stages.
Lori is a life-long learner, and continues to research and practice many health modalities. She believes when the body can sustain better balance and flow of life-force energy, we can attain greater overall health, a sense of calmness and peace of mind.
